Three awesome unusual hair cuts for women

Wild hair cuts
Wild hair cuts

Wild hair

Wild hair is becoming more and more acceptable in day to day life. Hair cuts, styles and colors of all kinds are popping up more and more. Wild hair is not just for celebrities and rock stars any more. This means wonderful things for style and self expression. Some of these hair styles are dual and can be played up or down. If you have been thinking about trying a wild style the three bellow are some super fun choices.
Skrillex style hair cut
Skrillex style hair cut

Skrillex cut

This is a very popular style right now. The name the skrillex cut (which i am sure is not the only name for it) came from the artist skrillex who is originally started wearing this hair style. This style is long all over accept for one side that is completely shaved. This actually gives the style more versatility the shaved side can be covered if needed by the long hair left over. The possibilities for styling in different ways are practically endless. Yo can go edgy or ellegant depending on your personal style. There are also many different variations of styling the shaved part. Dying the shaved side in a leopard design is a fun way to decorate this style. You can use temporary dye permanent and a variation of colors. Shaving designs into the side is another more subtle way to personalize this look. If you are looking for a more loud statement try attaching studs or gem stonesto the shaved side. The more obvious ways to style this look are to braid the longer side or part it differently wear curly and all the usual basic stuff. These are just a few ways to style this look.
Modern mullet

Micro mullet

When I hear mullet I immediately make a face like there is a bad smell in the air. Thankfully we are not talking about your typical eighties styled mullet. Have no fear you will not end up resembling Joe dirt. The micro mullet is a more modern spin on the mullet. With a little less of a drastic change from short to long. The layers blend a little more than the classic style. One of he great things about a micro mullet is that when you wear it down without any styling it barely resembles a mullet at all. It just looks long and layered with a little extra volume on top. When you do choose to style it this look can be very edgy and more of a fun going out kind of look. This style was inspired by the original mullet like the one worn by David Bowie in the labyrinth. The micro mullet started to become more popular in Japan and spread all over. You might even know some one with his cut already.
The uneven bob
The uneven bob

Uneven bob

This is a great hairstyle if you want to try something wild but are not ready for shaving your head or bringing back the mullet. This is a safer wild hair cut. The uneven bob is exactly that. It is a bob hair cut that slopes from short on one side to long on the other. The wonderful thing is that if you just want to take baby steps the slant can be subtle. Or if you are ready to take it to the next level you can try a more extreme slant with completely different lengths either side. The bob is always a classy choice but the uneven look definitely gives it an edge. This style has been around for a long time and has been worn my both celebrities and models. This style is a safer bet at work even with the more extreme version. If you don't like the look you can always even it out and you will have the classic look again.

Square face shapes

Square face shapes have very defined angles. The best haircuts for this face shape will soften these angles. Square faces can also appear short and wide. Adding length will help with this. Longer haircuts and styles look great. The key is to work with the angels of your face. If you want bangs try side swept and not straight blunt bangs. Long layers instead of short layers to lengthen the face. Short layers will add width. Chin length hair framing the face looks beautiful and so does an angled bob. Round shapes and loose waves are great looks for a square face.

Oblong face shapes

Oblong faces they look just like oval shaped faces but they are longer. You want hairstyles that add width and avoid anything that adds length. Lots of short choppy layers. Short hair cuts look awesome especially the ones that add width around the face. Bangs are an oblong faces best friend . Hair cuts that hold a nice shape around the face like haircuts that flare out.

Heart face shapes

Heart shaped faces have angels and width. Haircuts with bangs look great especially with a deep side part these styles open up the face without adding to much width or harshness to the defined jawline. Rounded layers framing the face look fabulous. Pixies look wonderful if you are looking for a shorter haircut. Out of all the faces shapes this one can be very versatile so talking to your stylist will be helpful. This way you can find a way to highlight the features you like the most.

Round face shapes

The idea is to elongate the face distracting from the round shape. This is best done with long layers that start at the chin. Anything higher like at the ears will add to the round shape. long hair cuts and styles look beautiful and do a great job lengthening the face. If you want to add bangs go for side swept bangs and side parts this adds more angels.

Triangle face shapes

Triangle face shapes are more narrow at the top of the face and have wider jaw lines than foreheads. This means that the very best hairstyles will balance this out by adding volume and width to the upper half of the face. Also haircuts that soften the jaw line like curls waves and round shapes. Short haircuts look great on triangle face especially those with curvy round shapes or lots of layers. Be careful with bangs this will shorten the forehead so if you choose to go with bangs side swept would look the best maybe even wispy type bangs. For medium haircuts hair that is layered nicely and framing the face works the best. Long hair should be cut in lots of choppy layers.

The pixie with long bangs

This is another version of the pixie cut. This version is a great for those who are still skeptical about short hair. This haircut can be styled in more ways than the original pixie cut because of the bangs they can poofed up, curled and worn straight down and even pinned to the side. You can also have blunt bangs or side swept. Side swept will look a bit more edgy falling into a triangular shape. The blunt bangs will look more classic than the side swept. These fall straight across but can be thick or feathered depending on what you and your hairdresser decide. The type of bangs you choose should also go well with your face shape. The long triangular shape will lengthen the face so this is best for round shapes and any other shape that needs to be lengthened. The Side swept will also soften sharp angles. The blunt straight across type of bangs will shorten a long face this is especially great for oblong faces.

The bob

This is a very versatile haircut. The bob can be long or short, chin length or to the shoulder. This angled cut looks fabulous without a lot of styling but is long enough to style when you have the time. This is a great haircut for those who want a low maintenance hairstyle but are looking for something a bit longer. Celebrities like Keira Knightly and Gweneth Paltrow have be seen wearing this hairstyle. This sleek look is a great everyday style and doesn't take much up keep or take care of. Bobs can be cut for any face shape so talk to your hair dresser to see which one suits you best.
