Three awesome unusual hair cuts for women
Wild hair cuts
Wild hair
Wild
hair is becoming more and more acceptable in day to day life. Hair
cuts, styles and colors of all kinds are popping up more and more. Wild
hair is not just for celebrities and rock stars any more. This means
wonderful things for style and self expression. Some of these hair
styles are dual and can be played up or down. If you have been thinking
about trying a wild style the three bellow are some super fun choices.
Skrillex cut
This
is a very popular style right now. The name the skrillex cut (which i
am sure is not the only name for it) came from the artist skrillex who
is originally started wearing this hair style. This style is long all
over accept for one side that is completely shaved. This actually gives
the style more versatility the shaved side can be covered if needed by
the long hair left over. The possibilities for styling in different
ways are practically endless. Yo can go edgy or ellegant depending on
your personal style. There are also many different variations of
styling the shaved part. Dying the shaved side in a leopard design is a
fun way to decorate this style. You can use temporary dye permanent
and a variation of colors. Shaving designs into the side is another
more subtle way to personalize this look. If you are looking for a more
loud statement try attaching studs or gem stonesto the shaved side.
The more obvious ways to style this look are to braid the longer side
or part it differently wear curly and all the usual basic stuff. These
are just a few ways to style this look.
Modern mullet
Micro mullet
When
I hear mullet I immediately make a face like there is a bad smell in
the air. Thankfully we are not talking about your typical eighties
styled mullet. Have no fear you will not end up resembling Joe dirt.
The micro mullet is a more modern spin on the mullet. With a little
less of a drastic change from short to long. The layers blend a little
more than the classic style. One of he great things about a micro
mullet is that when you wear it down without any styling it barely
resembles a mullet at all. It just looks long and layered with a little
extra volume on top. When you do choose to style it this look can be
very edgy and more of a fun going out kind of look. This style was
inspired by the original mullet like the one worn by David Bowie in the
labyrinth. The micro mullet started to become more popular in Japan and
spread all over. You might even know some one with his cut already.
The uneven bob
Uneven bob
This
is a great hairstyle if you want to try something wild but are not
ready for shaving your head or bringing back the mullet. This is a
safer wild hair cut. The uneven bob is exactly that. It is a bob hair
cut that slopes from short on one side to long on the other. The
wonderful thing is that if you just want to take baby steps the slant
can be subtle. Or if you are ready to take it to the next level you can
try a more extreme slant with completely different lengths either side.
The bob is always a classy choice but the uneven look definitely gives
it an edge. This style has been around for a long time and has been
worn my both celebrities and models. This style is a safer bet at work
even with the more extreme version. If you don't like the look you can
always even it out and you will have the classic look again.
